Job summary

Premier Inn Glasgow East Kilbride is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help them check in and support their stay at Brunel Way, East Kilbride. This permanent role offers 16 guaranteed hours per week at up to £13.06 per hour, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

You’ll join a friendly team, receive full training and have opportunities to develop across reception, restaurant and guest services.

Job description

We're currently recruiting in our Glasgow East Kilbride (Central) Premier Inn. Working 16 hours per week, paying up to £13.06 per hour.

Ground Floor Team Member – Glasgow East Kilbride (Central) Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 16 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Brunel Way, The Murray, East Kilbride, Glasgow, G75 0JY

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You Don’t Need Hotel Experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
