Whitbread PLC in Corby is recruiting a Ground Floor Team Member for Premier Inn at Southern Gateway Business Park. The role offers 12 guaranteed hours per week and a fixed-term contract until December 2026, with shifts including evenings and weekends.

You will welcome guests, assist with check-in, serve meals, answer questions and maintain the hotel’s reception, restaurant and public areas. Training is provided; no prior hotel experience is needed.

Ground Floor Team Member – Corby Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Fixed Term Contract until December 2026– we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 12 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Southern Gateway Business Park, 1 Little Colliers Field, Oakley Hay, Corby, Northamptonshire, NN18 9EZ

Shifts:Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
