Premier Inn Edinburgh Central is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, help them check in, serve meals and keep the hotel running smoothly. This permanent role offers 24 guaranteed hours per week, a pay rate of up to £13.56 per hour, and shifts that include evenings, weekends and busy periods.

Training and a clear path to develop within Premier Inn are provided. You'll join a collaborative team and be the first and last friendly face guests meet during their stay, with

Ground Floor Team Member – Edinburgh Central Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

As a Ground Floor Team Member, you’ll welcome guests, help them check in, answer questions, serve breakfast or dinner and do whatever it takes to help their stay go smoothly.

No two shifts are quite the same. One moment you could be helping a family check in before their holiday. The next you might be serving breakfast, recommending somewhere local to eat or helping solve a problem for a guest.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.56 per hour

Contract:Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 24 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Edinburgh Central Premier Inn - 82 Lauriston Place, Edinburgh, EH3 9DG

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.
