Job summary

Aberdare Premier Inn is hiring a Ground Floor Team Member to welcome guests, assist with check-in, and help run the restaurant and bar. The role includes evenings, weekends and busy periods with 16 guaranteed hours per week under a permanent contract.

No hotel experience is required; you will receive full training and have opportunities for career development within Premier Inn.

Ground Floor Team Member – Aberdare Premier Inn

You are the first person many of our guests meet. And often the last before they leave.

Pay, hours and location

Pay: Up to £13.06 per hour

Contract: Permanent – we don’t do zero-hours contracts.

Hours: 16 guaranteed hours per week.

Location: Aberdare Premier Inn , Riverside Retail Park, Tirfounders Field, Cwmbach, Gwent, CF44 0AH

Shifts: Includes evenings, weekends and busy guest periods.

What you’ll do

As a Ground Floor Team Member, no two shifts look exactly the same.

Depending on where you’re needed, you might:

• Welcome guests and help them check in
• Serve breakfast or evening meals, including working behind the bar and serving alcoholic drinks
• Answer questions and help solve problems
• Help keep the reception, restaurant and public areas looking their best
• Support your teammates across the hotel when things get busy
• Make sure every guest feels looked after from arrival to departure

This isn’t a role where you'll spend your shift in one place. You’ll be helping guests, supporting teammates and keeping the hotel running smoothly.

You don’t need hotel experience

Some of our best Ground Floor Team Members have joined us from retail, cafés, pubs, restaurants, leisure, travel and customer service.

If you’re friendly, enjoy helping people and can stay calm when it’s busy, we’ll teach you the rest.
