Job summary

AECOM is hiring for Ground Engineering and Tunnel Engineering professionals to join our UK teams. We welcome Geotechnical Engineers, Engineering Geologists and Tunnel Engineers of all levels who can bring technical expertise and an innovative mindset to projects across the UK.

Successful candidates will have a degree in a related field, progress towards chartered status is a plus, and a willingness to travel throughout the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree (BSc or MSc) in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
• Progress towards Chartered status would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite.
• Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical or structural/tunnel design; open to new methods.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ground engineering or tunnelling projects for UK/overseas clients.
• Lead teams and mentor junior staff to deliver high-quality designs.
• Contribute to the development of design standards and technical excellence.
