4Recruitment Services Ltd in Burnley is seeking a Gritter Driver for winter maintenance duties. You will operate gritting vehicles and related winter equipment on day and evening shifts, with a 12-hour standby pattern. This temp contract role requires safe operation and adherence to approved route plans and operational instructions.

Pay rate: 13.69ph paye

Job Purpose

• Undertake winter maintenance duties including precautionary salting and snow clearance operations in accordance with approved route plans and operational instructions.
• Operate gritting vehicles, plant, equipment and associated winter maintenance systems safely, effectively and efficiently.
• Monitor and report road, weather and treatment conditions during patrols and treatments.
