GBK at Birmingham Brindley Place is seeking a skilled Grill Chef to lead the grill, cook our burgers to perfection, and uphold top quality and presentation. You will help maintain cleanliness and collaborate with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires prior grill chef experience, strong grilling skills, and a commitment to hygiene and efficiency. This is a hands-on position with opportunities for growth within BRG.

Qualifications

• Experience as a grill chef or in a similar kitchen role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong grilling skills with an eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, without compromising on quality.

Responsibilities

• Master the Grill: take charge of the grill and cook burgers to perfection.
• Quality Control: ensure every burger meets our standards for taste, presentation and consistency.
• Keep It Clean: maintain a clean and organised workspace following food hygiene and safety regulations.
• Prep & Cook: assist with food prep and ensure ingredients are fresh and ready for cooking.
• Work as a Team: collaborate with kitchen staff to keep the kitchen running smoothly.
