Job summary

A leading renewable energy developer is looking for an experienced Power Systems Engineer to support renewable energy projects. This London-based role offers a hybrid working model and an attractive salary of up to £90,000. Responsibilities include power system modelling and managing grid connections with DNOs. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the sector and a relevant degree. Additional benefits include flexible working and support for chartership.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years hands-on experience in power system modelling for renewable or storage projects.
  • Proven experience in dynamic stability studies and grid-forming inverter modelling.
  • Strong understanding of UK transmission & distribution networks.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dynamic stability, reactive power, and voltage compensation studies.
  • Lead feasibility assessments for new connections to UK networks.
  • Prepare and manage grid connection applications with DNOs and National Grid.
