Job summary

Talent is seeking a Data Engineer (Databricks) to lead a greenfield Databricks Lakehouse implementation for a globally recognised manufacturing brand. You will build data pipelines from scratch, ingest from SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, Salesforce, and telemetry feeds, and shape governance with Unity Catalog.

You’ll work with a Tier 1 SI partner and Databricks specialists to ensure best practices from day one. On-site at our Staffordshire HQ, you’ll own the data platform from day one with exposure to

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Databricks experience.
• Experience with batch and streaming data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Ingest data from enterprise source systems (SAP S/4 HANA, SAP ECC, Salesforce, telemetry).
• Build batch and streaming pipelines using PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Live Tables, and Auto Loader across bronze, silver, and gold layers.
• Model gold datasets for BI in Tableau and Power BI; implement Unity Catalog governance.
• Collaborate on CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.
