You will be working in schools in these regions during the school day.

This is a crucial, self-employed, part-time role where you can make a tangible difference in your local community, earning a minimum of £20 per hour. We offer a comprehensive training and development programme and provide the flexibility to fit tuition around your existing commitments. We actively encourage applications from individuals with varied experiences and perspectives, as we believe this diversity enriches our tutoring team and enables us to better support our pupils.

  • Recognise and respond to potential signs of abuse or neglect and follow all safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with pupils and promote a safe and secure learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience & knowledge: You must have a genuine passion for education and a belief in educational equity. You need demonstrable skills and knowledge equivalent to a grade 6 at GCSE in English Language or maths (depending on the subject you want to tutor in). We can be flexible on formal qualifications and welcome applicants who have studied the subject at a higher level or have relevant work or volunteering experience. While not essential, it would be advantageous to have experience working with young people from a variety of backgrounds and an understanding of the systemic inequalities that impact educational outcomes. We welcome transferable skills from all backgrounds.
