Job summary

DJH is seeking a Head of Governance, Risk & Compliance to lead the group-wide GRC framework. You will work closely with the Director of GRC, Partners and the wider team, owning regulatory, risk and compliance activities and providing practical guidance to ensure strong governance and readiness for regulatory change.

Ideal candidates will have deep experience in compliance roles within professional services, with ICAEW, AML and data protection expertise, and the ability to translate complex

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in compliance, risk, audit or legal roles within professional services.
• Strong knowledge of ICAEW regulations, Practice Assurance, AML and data protection.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance and policies.
• Professional qualification or certification in compliance, risk, governance or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; capable of advising Partners and Directors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and monitor GRC framework areas with actions, controls and compliance.
• Act as contact for ICAEW and regulatory matters including AML and client money.
• Provide practical risk and compliance advice to Partners and Directors.
• Oversee due diligence, AML, monitoring and internal audits including high-risk reviews.
• Maintain policies, risk registers and compliance documentation with regulatory alignment.
• Support regulatory change, quality assurance, training and continuous improvement.
