Job summary

Prodigy Studios in London is seeking an In House Graphics Designer to lead the visual identity across our YouTube and social channels. You will craft graphics that strengthen our brands and support storytelling across The Switch, The Set and The Postman.

Collaborating with Producers, Directors, Editors and Social Media teams, you will develop thumbnails, motion graphics, titles and data visuals while maintaining brand guidelines and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.
• Experience as Graphic Designer, Motion Graphics Designer or Digital Designer, preferably within sports or digital media.
• Strong portfolio showing digital, social and motion graphics work.
• Understanding of what makes an effective YouTube thumbnail and how design can influence click-through and audience behaviour.
• Excellent typography, composition, colour, hierarchy and visual storytelling.
• Strong creative instincts and ability to develop distinctive visual identities.
• Ability to take a brief and turn it into a strong creative concept.
• Ability to work quickly and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Passion for sport and knowledge of sports culture.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with external graphics supplier to support workflows and delivery of the graphics roster across platforms.
• Ensure consistency in graphics output across YouTube, social media, video content and promotional materials.
• Establish visual language for new shows, formats and digital properties against the YouTube platform, sponsors and brand integrations.
• Continuously evolve visual output to keep Prodigy Studios distinctive and contemporary.
• Create graphics reflecting the talent, brand and audience personality.
• Design high-performing YouTube thumbnails across channels.
• Collaborate with Social Media and Editorial teams to understand story, hook and audience proposition.
• Create graphics and visual assets to support launches, episodes and moments.
• Produce motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, transitions, animations and visual effects.
• Develop opening titles, end cards, bumpers and recurring sequences.
• Create animated graphics that enhance storytelling without distraction.
• Produce graphics for long-form and short-form content.
• Ensure graphics are integrated with Inhouse Editor and external supplier.
• Create data visualisations, statistics, scorecards, timelines, maps as required.
• Develop graphics packages for new shows and productions.
• Deliver commercial graphics within brand guidelines and deadlines.
