The ideal candidate has experience in agile teams and proficiency in modern design tools. You will develop innovative solutions that enhance user experiences and ensure compliance with design standards. A full-time position offering supportive and collaborative work environment awaits you.
Join CGI and help shape meaningful, user‑centred design solutions that drive innovation and elevate digital services across the UK. As a Graphic Designer, you’ll bring creative thinking and evidence‑based design together to deliver work that is accessible, inclusive, and aligned with real user needs. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, take ownership of complex design challenges, and help ensure our design standards remain high and consistent. With the support of an expert community and opportunities to explore new creative approaches, you’ll play an important role in delivering impactful solutions that enhance user experiences and drive successful outcomes for our clients.

We offer a competitive salary, excellent pension, private healthcare, plus a share scheme (3.5% + 3.5% matching) which makes you a CGI Partner not just an employee. We are committed to inclusivity, building a genuinely diverse community of tech talent and inspiring everyone to pursue careers in our sector, including our Armed Forces, and are proud to hold a Gold Award in recognition of our support of the Armed Forces Corporate Covenant. Join us and you’ll be part of an open, friendly community of experts. We’ll train and support you in taking your career wherever you want it to go.
Due to the secure nature of the programme you will need to either hold, or be eligible and willing to undergo UK Security Clearance. This is a hybrid position.
In this role, you will create high‑quality, user‑centred designs that enhance digital services and ensure accessibility, consistency, and meaningful impact. You’ll interpret research findings, develop creative design concepts, and support the delivery of clear, intuitive solutions across multiple projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll bring ideas to life through evidence‑based design practices and contribute to agile delivery. You’ll have opportunities to take ownership of complex design challenges, shape design standards, and apply your creativity to identify risks and unlock opportunities. Supported by a collaborative design community, you’ll help drive innovative, user‑focused outcomes across CGI’s portfolio.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need strong experience in delivering user‑centred design solutions, the ability to interpret research and evidence, and confidence working collaboratively in agile environments. You should bring creative thinking, strong communication skills, and a solid understanding of accessibility and design systems.
