Graphic Designer

Macgregor Black are partnering with a Growing Toy Brand on the search for a Graphic Designer. This is a permanent role based in Watford.

As the Graphic Designer, you’ll play a key role in creating high-quality visual assets that support product launches, packaging, retail displays, and marketing campaigns across a diverse licensed toy portfolio. This is a hands‑on, creative role suited to a designer who thrives in a fast-paced, fun, and collaborative environment - and who understands how to translate brand guidelines into engaging, child‑focused design.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and adapt artwork for toy packaging, product inserts, POS materials, and retail displays.
  • Work with global and regional brand teams to ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and licensor approvals.
  • Support the development of marketing visuals for digital and social media campaigns.
  • Create mock-ups and presentation boards for retailer pitches and product previews.
  • Manage and prepare final artwork files for production, ensuring accuracy and print quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Development and Marketing teams to bring new toy concepts to life.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, printers, and licensors to ensure timely delivery and brand compliance.
  • Maintain consistency and creativity across all touchpoints, balancing fun, clarity, and commercial appeal.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer within the toy industry or a related consumer product category.
  • Strong understanding of licensed brand design and experience working with global entertainment properties.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and confident preparing artwork for print.
  • A creative thinker with strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a collaborative, can-do attitude.
  • Passion for toys, characters, and storytelling through design.
