Job summary

Birketts is seeking a Marketing Content Specialist to create and edit video for campaigns and internal comms, while maintaining brand standards across all collateral.

You will develop brochures, templates and digital assets, support analytics, and collaborate with teams to deliver campaigns and events from Ipswich offices in a hybrid pattern.

Our Business Development and Marketing Team sits within our wider Business Services Division. The team work together in support of the firm’s vision, mission and values. The team are responsible for the firm’s Business Development, PR and Communications, CRM, Campaigns and Events, as well as tender and proposal management.

The work you will be doing

• Create and edit high-quality video content to support marketing campaigns, events, social media, website content, and internal communications, including filming, post-production editing, and asset management.Create inspiring, well executed marketing collateral.
• Act as a brand guardian and always adhere to brand guidelines.
• Create brochures, flyers, invitations, PowerPoint presentations and templates, Word documents and templates, digital assets for social media and websites, video content, and support other marketing collateral requests.
• Convert documents to digital platforms such as Flipsnack.
• Source promotional goods and looks after pool of corporate merchandise. Comes up with suggestions for new creative ideas that fit within overall brand values and is sustainably sourced and environmentally friendly.
• Support the preparation of presentations and other templates, blogs, articles, and brochures.
• Collate, update and support production of firm wide literature for events.
• Keep collateral up to date and be the guardian of version control.
• Supports the central DAM system ensuring collateral is stored and collated correctly.
• Support provision of accurate analytical reporting on collateral usage including open rates from digital assets.
• Support with invoice processing and adhering to firms purchase order and marketing expenses processes.
• Keep diary of collateral asset requirements and locations.
• Fully support the team in the efficient delivery of business development and marketing campaign activity.
• Build strong working relationships with all teams.
• Undertake other duties to meet the demands of the business.
• Actively contribute to the team with ideas for marketing campaign and supporting collateral.
• From time to time, provide ‘on the ground’ support for events and seminars, across all offices.

What we are looking for

The ideal candidate will have strong desktop publishing skills, particularly using InDesign or similar software, alongside experience in videography and video editing for digital marketing purposes. They will have a keen interest in emerging technologies that support marketing collateral, including digital collateral platforms and multimedia content creation.

The role requires a self‑motivated, proactive team player who can work calmly under pressure, meet strict deadlines, remain flexible with working hours, and confidently collaborate with colleagues.

• Experience in videography and video editing, with the ability to plan, film, and produce engaging video content using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.Strong desktop publishing skills, ideally InDesign or similar essential.
• Takes a keen interest in the latest technology to support marketing collateral – an understanding of digital collateral platforms would be useful.
• IT Literate (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and database skills).
• A proven track‑record delivering design projects to a high standard
• A high level of attention to detail
• The ability to proof read and write copy in the correct tone of voice and in line with brand guidelines is a bonus
• Self‑motivated with the ability to use initiative and provide pro‑active support to colleagues
• The ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines

Hybrid Working

Birketts is a flexible business which has embraced a hybrid working model where our colleagues enjoy a mix of home and office working. This role attracts a split of 60% office days and 40% working from home days per week at our Ipswich, Chelmsford, Norwich and Cambridge Offices. Due to the nature of this role, we would require a miniumum of working day 1 day a week from our Ipswich office.
