A leading construction firm based in London seeks an experienced Graphic Designer. In this role, you will provide strategic graphic design services to internal clients, work closely with the marketing team, and create compelling visuals for bid submissions. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite and a background in graphic design, preferably within the construction or engineering sector. This permanent position involves a 45-hour work week and offers exciting opportunities for career progression.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced graphic designer to join our Construction bidding team in the London Office at St Mary Axe.
For 156 years Sir Robert McAlpine has worked at the forefront of the construction world - gaining a reputation for engineering excellence and the respectful, honourable way of doing what we do. Our achievements through the decades are down to the people we employ and the opportunities we give them to succeed. With so many stand-out projects and opportunities ahead, now is the perfect time to join our family‑owned business, and proudly build Britain's future heritage with us.
We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join our dynamic and professional Visualisation and Graphics team. You will provide an effective, efficient and strategic graphic design service to internal clients, from taking a brief to concept development and final delivery.
You'll work closely with our Brand, Comms & Marketing team to help shape and maintain Sir Robert McAlpine's public image through creative, on‑brand graphic design. You'll be responsible for designing and producing a variety of materials, including brochures, campaigns, magazines, reports, templates, websites, and social media content.
Working with the project team, you'll create concept ideas, graphics, and templates for bid submissions. This could include photography and filming, logistics drawings, infographics, PowerPoint presentations, and InDesign layouts.
We're looking for someone who can think creatively and strategically, producing designs that engage and communicate effectively with both internal and external audiences. You'll have excellent communication, organisation, and planning skills, and enjoy working as part of a collaborative, high‑performing team.
We're ready to invest in you and your future, and offer wide-ranging, performance‑related progression opportunities. Our competitive rewards packages feature flexible benefits to fit your lifestyle and priorities.
Sir Robert McAlpine is focused on being a truly inclusive employer, even if you don't meet every single requirement, we'd still love to hear from you. Especially if you're part of a group that is under‑represented in Construction. Our goal is for Sir Robert McAlpine to proportionally represent the diversity of the working population in society. As a family‑run business with strong family values, our aim is to ensure that Sir Robert McAlpine is a supportive, empowering and inclusive environment for every member of our team.
Please note this is a 45 hour week permanent contract.
