The Best Connection is recruiting for a Grape Picking Operative in Alfriston to support harvest activities outdoors. The role involves hand-picking grapes to quality standards, assisting with vineyard tasks, and working in a team during the vintage season.

You should have grape picking experience, right to work in the UK, reliable commute to the remote site, and access to a device to submit an online application. This is a temporary role with weekly pay and potential for Temp2Perms.

Responsibilities

• Hand-picking grapes to quality standards.
• Assist with vine maintenance and seasonal vineyard tasks.
• Ensure vineyard rows and growing areas are maintained to a high standard.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and report maintenance requirements.
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
• Assist with harvesting activities during the vintage season as required.
• Work collaboratively with vineyard supervisors and other team members.
• Report all incidents or broken equipment to the shift manager.
• Comply with Standard Operating Procedures and health and safety rules.
