Job summary

The Yehudi Menuhin School is seeking an experienced Grants Manager to secure funding from trusts, foundations and statutory sources, and to own the full grant lifecycle.

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising within the Development Directorate, you will develop compelling cases for support, manage donor relationships, monitor budgets and provide timely reports on progress to help sustain the School’s long-term ambitions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in securing four- to six-figure grants.
• Proven ability to identify funders and develop tailored cases for support.
• Experience writing persuasive funding proposals and funder reports.
• Strong relationship-building skills with funders and internal teams.
• Experience in managing income plans, deadlines and a robust funding pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Secure grants from trusts, foundations and statutory funders; manage their lifecycle.
• Carry out prospect research and due diligence to identify suitable funders.
• Write compelling funding proposals and develop cases for support.
• Develop budgets in collaboration with colleagues and monitor progress and spend.
• Maintain donor records, generate timely reports, and contribute to annual targets and budgeting.
