Job summary

Arts Council England is seeking a Grants Coordinator to provide efficient day-to-day administration and coordination of QEST’s grant programmes. You will support applicants, QEST Alumni and Skills Assessors through application, assessment and grant administration processes.

The role focuses on accurate processing of applications and grant records, timely communication, and keeping programme information and data up to date, while ensuring smooth operation of multiple rounds and ongoing grants.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering administrative and programme coordination.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confident and professional when dealing with applicants and external contacts by phone and email.
  • Commitment to high standard of applicant and stakeholder support.
  • Good problem-solving and judgement within procedures.
  • Ability to work with databases and digital systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate application and assessment administration.
  • Support delivery of two annual application and assessment rounds.
  • Administer day-to-day processes for Scholarship, Emerging Maker and Apprenticeship programmes.
  • Coordinate online assessments and in-person interviews with Skills Assessors.
