Job summary

The British Council is seeking a Grants Coordinator to support global Arts grant programmes, working with the Head of Grant Making and Grants Managers. You will coordinate grant operations, budgeting, reporting and data management, ensuring compliant delivery and strong partner engagement.

This hybrid role is based in the United Kingdom with a 36‑hour week and a starting salary of £28,072. You will work from the office three days per week and contribute to diverse international projects.

  • Ability to write effectively for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate grant operations, reporting and data management to ensure timely delivery.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and audit readiness for grant programmes.
  • Manage vendor relationships and timely payments under policies and guidelines.
  • Support programme events, grantee engagement and cross‑team collaboration with Marketing and Communications.

We inspire.****Role**Support the delivery of global Arts grant programmes across Creative Growth and Art in Action.
