Job summary

Jacobs invites applications for its two‑year Graduate Development Program (GDP) in the Water and Environment business. You will work on real projects, mentored by experienced professionals, and develop across four areas: human skills, consulting skills, strategy, and personal passions.

Based in the UK with a flexible hybrid working model, the GDP offers defined learning journeys, fieldwork, and opportunities to collaborate with industry leaders on flood risk management and river engineering

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Masters in Environmental Science or Water Science or similar.
• Permanent right to work in the UK.
• Available to start March 2027.
• Interest in River Engineering and Flood Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out fieldwork including River Condition Surveys.
• Assist with Fluvial Audits, Stream Reconnaissance Surveys and river restoration projects.
• Contribute to Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments.
• Write concise reports analyzing hydrological datasets and geomorphological assessments.
• Work in GIS to analyse spatial data.
