Job summary

Oliver Valves is seeking a Graduate R&D Engineer to join our Knutsford team. In this role you will help assemble and test prototype valves, maintain test data quality, and contribute to new product design reviews.

You will engage in FMECA work, coordinate development projects, and help develop automated testing while ensuring facilities are used efficiently. The position offers a structured early career path within a fast-growing, family-owned valve manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Level 3 engineering qualification or equivalent; practical experience considered.
• Proficiency in Solidworks or AutoCAD.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excel advanced skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test prototype valves.
• Maintain test data and reports to the Oliver Standard of Quality.
• Contribute to new product design reviews.
• Perform FMECA work.
• Coordinate workload of larger development projects.
• Develop automated testing of products.
• Ensure test facilities and equipment are utilized efficiently.
