Job summary

Stantec’s 2027 Graduate Programme in Reading offers an opportunity to join a specialist wastewater network modelling team. You will work with senior modellers on hydraulic modelling, optioneering and feasibility work, contributing to projects from conception to delivery and improving water quality and urban drainage resilience.

As a graduate, you will develop through mentoring, collaboration and practical assignments, with a plan to gain ICE/CIWEM accreditation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Hydraulic Engineering, Geography or water-related subject.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK.
• Graduate to come into the office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Support wastewater hydraulic modelling and model-building activities.
• Contribute to optioneering and feasibility design work for complex water infrastructure challenges.

Join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Urban Drainage Modeller in our Reading office, where you will be part of a specialist wastewater network modelling team supporting major regulated water companies across the UK and Ireland. Your core responsibilities include:

• Supporting wastewater hydraulic modelling and model-building activities.
• Contributing to optioneering and feasibility design work for complex water infrastructure challenges.
