Job summary

A leading educational organization in Ashington is seeking a motivated Graduate Tutor to deliver one-to-one and small-group tutoring sessions in core subjects. Salary: £90 - £110 per day
Contract: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

GSL Education are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Tutor to join a supportive school in Ashington. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about education and eager to make a real impact on pupils’ academic progress and confidence.

Job Summary
  • Deliver small-group and one-to-one tutoring sessions in core subjects (Maths, English, or Science).
  • Support pupils in overcoming barriers to learning and improving attainment.
  • Collaborate with class teachers to track progress and adapt learning strategies.
  • Provide academic mentoring and motivational support to pupils.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment.
Requirements
  • A degree in any subject (2:2 or above).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for education and supporting young learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
