Graduate Trainee Health & Safety Manager

Based in Preston with Travel across the North of England

Our client are a large national retail business with a long established store base. Highly secure and an exceptional place to work this is a superb opportunity to join the team.

They are looking to recruit a Graduate Trainee Health & Safety Manager to cover their Stores across the North West of England. Initially based in Preston this is a superb opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for Health & Safety to join a business that will develop fundamental qualifications and help you build a multi department career within an established Retail / Wholesale brand.

The Role :

As a Graduate Trainee you’ll gain hands‑on experience across all areas of our client’s diverse operations including Retail, Logistics, Manufacturing and Head Office functions. You’ll learn how workplace safety is managed across multiple industries while working alongside experienced professionals while being fully supported to gain industry‑recognised qualifications.

Your permanent employment will be subject to the successful completion of the following fully funded qualifications :

  • IOSH Managing Safely and NEBOSH General Certificate to be completed within 4 months
  • NEBOSH Diploma to commence upon receipt of General Certificate results with full support and funding provided over a 12 to 18-month period

These industry‑recognised qualifications will give you comprehensive knowledge of health and safety legislation, risk management, hazard control and how to foster a strong safety culture across varied working environments.
