Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Town Planner to join a Bristol-based team. This entry-level role offers exposure to a wide range of planning projects and hands-on experience from day one.

You will work with experienced planners, supporting site appraisals, research, and the preparation and submission of planning applications while building client relationships and developing professional skills for RTPI chartership.

Qualifications

• A degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related discipline.
• Understanding of the UK planning system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The Role

An established planning consultancy is looking to recruit a Graduate Town Planner to join its team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate with a passion for planning and the built environment to begin their career within a professional consultancy setting.

You will work alongside experienced planners, supporting a variety of projects and gaining valuable experience across the planning process, from initial site appraisals and planning research through to the preparation and submission of planning applications.

The successful candidate will be keen to learn, develop their technical knowledge and build strong relationships with clients, local authorities and other industry professionals.

This role is ideally suited to a recent graduate in Town Planning or a related discipline who is looking to establish themselves within the industry and work towards professional accreditation.
