Job summary

Barclays in Glasgow is offering a Technology Developer programme for graduates, blending hands-on development across Java, C++, C#, Python, SQL and more. You will design, build, test and maintain systems used across Barclays, solving complex problems for clients while collaborating with product managers, designers and engineers in a hybrid campus environment.

The one-year expert programme provides job-based bespoke training from day one, aiming to equip you with specialist technical depth.

Qualifications

• Strong degree or expected degree in a technical field by June 2027.
• Interest in technology and problem-solving.
• Willingness to work in Glasgow with hybrid campus environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve software using industry-standard languages and frameworks.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers and engineers to define requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Promote code quality through reviews, secure coding practices, unit testing and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to scalable, maintainable software with robust performance and security.
