Our client is an ambitious and welcoming secondary school with a busy, well-resourced Science Department.

Our client is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team and support the delivery of outstanding science education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to gain invaluable classroom experience. After one or two successful terms as a TA, there is potential to progress onto a paid teacher training programme within the school.

The Role
  • Support teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging science lessons
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning
  • Prepare and maintain equipment and materials for practical work
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment
  • Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, enrichment activities, and trips

  • A recent Science graduate (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related discipline)
  • Passionate about education and eager to inspire young learners
  • Confident, proactive, and organised with strong communication skills
