Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic graduates to join Bolton primary schools as Teaching Assistants, providing classroom support and helping with 1:1 and SEND work.

No teaching qualification is required. A degree in any discipline and at least six months’ experience with children or young people are essential. Most roles are full-time, Monday to Friday, with typical hours 8:30am–3:30pm, offering valuable school-based experience in Bolton.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Classroom Teaching Assistant: Supporting teachers with lessons, classroom activities and pupils' everyday learning.
• 1:1 Support: Working closely with individual pupils who need additional help and encouragement.
• SEND Support: Assisting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
• SEMH and Behaviour Support: Helping pupils manage challenges, develop positive relationships and engage with school life.
• Targeted Pupil Support: Helping children build confidence, develop skills and access learning activities.
