Job summary

Remedy Recruitment Group is seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join secondary schools in Islington from September. You will support students in lessons across core subjects, run one-to-one and small group sessions, and help teachers with lesson prep and classroom management.

Ideal candidates have a degree in Mathematics, Science, or English, strong communication skills, and a genuine interest in education.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mathematics, Science, English, or a related subject.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in education and working with young people.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to obtain an enhanced DBS check and provide suitable references.

Responsibilities

• Supporting students in lessons across your specialist subject area.
• Providing one-to-one and small group intervention sessions.
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management.
• Encouraging student engagement, confidence, and academic progress.
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs and abilities.
