Job summary

Academics is seeking a Graduate Secondary Teaching Assistant in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, to support students aged 11-16. Salary is 95 per day with a September 2026 start. You will deliver learning programmes, prepare materials, provide feedback to teachers, and assist with activities and trips. Weekly pay, with a path toward teacher training in the future.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.

• Graduate inclusion teaching assistant with interest in teaching.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals and groups of pupils to deliver learning programmes.
• Prepare and maintain basic classroom resources and equipment.
• Prepare the classroom as directed for lessons.
• Provide regular feedback to teachers on pupils' achievement and progress.
• Provide Ad hoc support to the teacher, e.g. photocopying, laminating.
• Assist with supervision of pupils during the school day.
• Accompany staff and pupils on visits and activities.
• Attend meetings and training opportunities.
