Our client is an ambitious and welcoming secondary school with a thriving and supportive Mathematics Department.

They are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant (TA) to join their team and support the delivery of high‑quality maths education across Key Stages 3 and 4.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic graduate to gain invaluable classroom experience. After one or two successful terms as a TA, there is potential to progress onto a paid teacher training programme within the school.

The Role
  • Support teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging maths lessons
  • Work with students individually or in small groups to reinforce mathematical understanding
  • Help prepare learning resources and support students in developing problem‑solving skills
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
  • Contribute to wider school life, including clubs, enrichment activities, and trips
The Ideal Candidate
  • A recent Maths graduate (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related discipline)
