Job summary

Protocol Education Limited is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Hexham to support teachers with lesson delivery and assist students in small groups. You will help improve engagement, attendance and positive learning behaviours across the school day.

The role includes pastoral support and developing practical classroom management skills, with full training and ongoing mentoring from day one.

This full-time Graduate Teaching Assistant opportunity offers hands-on experience within a supportive school environment, making it ideal for graduates considering teaching, educational psychology or youth work.

Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 8:30am-4:00pm | Wednesday 8:30am-5:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
