Location: East London (Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, Waltham Forest, Redbridge)
Hours: Full-time, term-time 8:15-16:00
Start: ASAP / rolling
Salary: 90-120 per day (experience dependent)

Overview

We're hiring Graduate SEN Teaching Assistants for primary and specialist settings. You'll support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech & language and learning needs (EYFS-KS2) through structured interventions and classroom support.

What you'll do
  • Deliver 1:1/small-group support and scaffolded learning
  • Use visual schedules/now-next, task chunking and precision teaching
  • Promote communication (e.g., PECS/Makaton exposure), social skills and independence
  • Record progress against EHCP targets; liaise with teachers, SENCO and therapists
  • Follow behaviour and safeguarding policies
Good degree backgrounds

(any of the following): SEN/Inclusive Education, Education/Primary Education, Early Childhood Studies, English, Mathematics, Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, Child Development, Neuroscience, Social Sciences, Criminology.
