Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants in Guildford to support SEN schools across Surrey. This role is ideal for graduates aiming to gain classroom experience before pursuing teaching-related careers.

You will work with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams, supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping access learning and wellbeing, with ongoing training through Milk Academy.

Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants in Guildford to support fantastic SEN schools across Surrey. This role is perfect for graduates who are passionate about supporting children and young people and want to make a real difference in their learning, development, and wellbeing.

Whether you have studied Psychology, Education, Criminology, English, Maths, Science, Sport, or another degree, this opportunity will help you develop valuable skills and experience within a specialist education setting.

The Role

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant in a SEN school, you will work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to provide support for pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEND and SEMH needs.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping students access learning and develop confidence
• Supporting children with additional learning needs
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and independence
• Providing emotional and pastoral support where required
