TimePlan Education Manchester is recruiting enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Teaching Assistants to join a successful Bury secondary school. This is a perfect stepping stone into teaching for those with degrees in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Psychology, Sport, or related subjects.

Role Overview

You will be supporting teachers across subject departments, providing targeted intervention and working with pupils who need academic stretch or additional academic catch‑up. This role will give you unrivalled classroom experience before progressing to teacher training.

Key Responsibilities

• Support teaching staff across KS3 and KS4 curriculum areas
• Provide small‑group tuition and booster sessions
• Assist with lesson planning and resource creation
• Work with pupils preparing for GCSE exams
• Develop your own subject‑specialist knowledge and teaching confidence
• Support extracurricular clubs and enrichment activities (if desired)
