Job summary

INDEDU is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants for Barking, East London. Roles are full-time, Monday–Friday, with school hours from 8:15am to 3:30pm.

This is an ideal entry point for future teachers, offering salaried teacher training from September 2027 and a September 2026 start in a good/outstanding school with broad subject opportunities. Successful grads in Maths, Science, English or Geography will join a planned programme with progression into teacher training from 2027.

Qualifications

• Grads of Maths, Science, English or Geography welcome.
• Must have 1st or 2:1 degree from a Top 30 university.
• Clear commitment to pursuing teacher training from Sep 2027.

Responsibilities

• Support academic progress in your subject area in class.
• Assist pupils with barriers to progress and work with small groups.
• Placement for the entire academic year with daily teaching assistant duties.
