Position Overview
This 6‑month fixed‑term contract offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role within ITV’s Talent Payments function. You will report to the Talent Payments Manager and help ensure the accurate and timely processing of talent‑related payment work.
Responsibilities
- Secure handling of confidential information, including banking details and sensitive documentation.
- Onboard Talent, Service Companies, Agents, and Independent Producers into the TalentPay system.
- Provide first‑line support for Talent Payments queries, resolving issues via inbox, helpdesk, or phone in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform regular data cleansing and reconciliation activities to maintain system accuracy and integrity.
- Collaborate with People Payments, HR, Finance and other internal teams to maintain seamless service delivery.
- Support the development and tracking of KPIs and contribute to team goals and improvement initiatives.
- Provide cover for team members where required and engage in ongoing learning and development opportunities.
Key Qualifications and Skills
- 5 GCSEs at grades A–C including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Recent experience (within the last 2–3 years) in an administrative, payroll, finance, or customer service support role involving regular data handling or transaction processing.
- Demonstrable accuracy in high‑volume data entry or payment processing, evidenced through previous roles involving financial, payroll, or system‑based transactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, or Google Sheets and Docs, including ability to work with spreadsheets and structured data.
- Experience managing and responding to queries in a professional setting, such as shared inboxes, helpdesks, or customer service channels.
- Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information securely, with working knowledge of GDPR or data protection practices.
- Excellent attention to detail while working with complex or high‑volume data.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines effectively.
- Clear and confident verbal and written communication, with the ability to explain processes and resolve queries professionally.
- Proven capability to build positive working relationships and operate as a collaborative team member.
- Demonstrated resilience and composure when working under pressure or managing time‑sensitive tasks.
- Adaptability in response to changing workloads, priorities, or system/process updates.
- Sound problem‑solving skills, including the ability to identify issues, investigate root causes, and suggest improvements.
- Comfortable working within established policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Awareness of or interest in payroll, finance, or payments processes, with willingness to learn technical aspects quickly.
