McGill University is seeking a graduate student for a teaching assistant-type role in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education (DISE) for Global Education & Social Justice. The position runs from December 21, 2026 to April 30, 2027, with classes on Tue/Thu afternoons.

The successful candidate will mark, grade, prepare course materials, and support student learning, including feedback on presentations and coursework. French is an asset. Equity and accessibility support is noted.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled as a Graduate student at McGill University.
• Knowledge of course content.
• Must be available to attend classes.
• English, spoken and written.
• French, spoken and written, is an asset.
• An understanding of contemporary conversations around class, gender, race, sexuality and the intersections these socio-political paradigms have with education is required.

Responsabilités

• Marking and grading.
• Preparing course materials.
• Assisting students’ learning.
• Leading discussing.
• Project supervision.
• Providing feedback to students on presentations and/or coursework.
• Attending classes (Tuesday & Thursday, 02:35 pm-03:55 pm).
