Graduate Structural Engineer

Torquay

This is a great opportunity for a bright, enthusiastic graduate structural engineer to join a successful, well established, civil and structural design practice near Torquay.

Working as a graduate structural engineer you will

• work on a diverse and interesting range of projects throughout the southwest and across
• different sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education and health.
• working with exceptional colleagues on the structural design of challenging projects that will
• improve your knowledge and understanding of structural engineering.

Liaise and co-ordinate with our infrastructure, highways and drainage engineers and you will

• be involved in every aspect of scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and
• project management.
• produce drawings using AutoCAD or Revit
• prepare structural design calculations on a project basis using the current Eurocodes, BS
• Standards and Approved Codes of Practice

You will assist with coordinating the structural and civil engineering aspects of the design

• process
• liaise with other engineering disciplines within the practice
• Accompany senior engineers to site visits/meetings
