Job summary

Tyréns AKT invites talented graduates to apply for our 2027 Graduate Programme in London. As a Graduate Structural Engineer you will work with experienced engineers on diverse projects, gaining exposure from concept through construction.

You will develop your skills across design, analyses and documentation, using leading software and collaborating with architects, engineers and contractors. The programme emphasizes mentoring, training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
• Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
• Interest in structural design and construction of buildings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Robot, ETABS or similar is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the structural design and analysis of buildings across a range of sectors.
• Assist with structural calculations and the design of steel, concrete, timber and masonry structures.
• Develop structural drawings, details and technical documentation.
• Use industry-standard structural engineering and design software.
• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors and other consultants to coordinate designs.
• Attend project meetings and site visits to develop understanding of construction.
• Develop knowledge of Eurocodes, British Standards and industry guidance.
• Learn from experienced engineers while progressively taking on greater responsibility.

As a Graduate Structural Engineer, you will work alongside experienced engineers on a diverse range of projects, gaining experience across the structural design process from concept through to construction.

What will you do?

• Support the structural design and analysis of buildings across a range of sectors.

What are we looking for?

• A proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
• Previous placement, internship or relevant engineering experience is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla, Robot, ETABS or similar is advantageous.
