Job summary

Nissan is seeking a Graduate SQD Engineer to join the Supplier Quality Development (SQD) team at Nissan NMUK Sunderland or NTCE Cranfield. You will collaborate with suppliers, engineers, manufacturing, and purchasing to design robust processes and deliver quality excellence.

You will receive hands-on training, aim to become a formally certified Nissan Auditor, and support supplier quality investigations, audits and NPQP activities while traveling domestically and internationally for UK, Europe

Qualifications

• Essential: Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in engineering (2:1/merit or higher).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills enabling clear decision making.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams to achieve business results.
• Flexibility to thrive in fast-paced automotive manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Full UK driving licence; willing to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Work with SQD engineers gaining on-the-job training.
• Learn automotive manufacturing technologies and quality systems.
• Become a formally Certified Nissan Auditor.
• Support supplier quality investigations and improvement activities.
• Assist with supplier assessments, process audits and quality reviews.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and identify trends with data analysis.
• Support New Model Introduction and vehicle launch activities.
