Job summary

Thermoteknix Systems Ltd in Cambridge invites a highly motivated graduate software engineer to join the New Product Introduction team. This hands-on role blends software, electronics, firmware, automation and manufacturing to bring new products from development into production.

You will work with R&D, manufacturing and quality teams, developing software that interacts with hardware, and helping to build automated tests and scalable production processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to solve complex technical problems.
Experience with C#, WPF and MVVM.
Experience with software tools, automation projects or hardware-interfacing projects.
Familiarity with source control, testing, debugging and release processes.

Responsibilities

Support software and test design within the NPI projects.
Develop software to interact with hardware and assist in transition to production.
Define and implement automated test processes for new products and assemblies.
Collaborate with mechanical and electronics engineers to design automated test systems.
Improve manufacturing readiness by reducing production test and build times.
Provide hands-on support during NPI builds and troubleshooting.
