Job summary

Content Guru Limited, a leading cloud communications provider, invites graduates to join the application engineering team as Software Developer at our Bracknell office. You will contribute to back-end development in C# with .NET 5/6, front-end work in React.js, and modern containerised deployments.

You’ll participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement. A STEM degree and hands-on project experience are expected for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM/Computer Science or related field.
• Good experience developing commercial projects/applications in C#.
• Strong SQL experience with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server).
• Experience with source control, especially Git.
• Experience in Agile environments, particularly Scrum.
• Knowledge of OWASP ASVS or equivalent security standards.
• Experience with .NET 5 or 6.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React.js.
• Experience containerising apps with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Write code in C# and design architecture of new components.
• Work within an Agile team to develop back-end applications and features.
• Test features to ensure correct behavior across scenarios.
• Collaborate with QA and deployment teams to validate builds.
• Maintain and upgrade the platform, peer-review colleagues’ work.
• Stay current with development trends and test new technologies.
