Graphcore invites graduates to join a two-year Graduate Software Engineer programme in Bristol, focusing on Accelerator Modelling. You’ll work on hands-on modelling, simulations and performance analyses to shape next‑generation AI accelerators.

From day one, you’ll contribute to planning, design, implementation and testing with a supportive team, learning across architecture, hardware and software while developing practical C++ skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree or equivalent experience in CS, maths, ML, data science or related field.
• Strong C++ programming skills from study, projects or work.
• Understanding of CS fundamentals and interest in lower‑level software.
• Ability to debug complex problems and explain thinking with debugging tools, performance analysis, testing, version control.
• Curiosity about processor architecture, hardware simulation, performance modelling or systems behaviour.

Responsabilités

• Model future AI accelerators and develop simulations.
• Build, test and refine models; predict performance, power and scalability.
• Investigate workload behaviour and support planning, design, implementation and testing.
• Scale distributed modelling environments and connect software models to hardware concepts.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and ML researchers to inform hardware decisions.
