Job summary

Automation Consultants is seeking a Graduate Software Consultant for hybrid work in Reading. The role includes delivering complex client projects, transforming technology, and improving ways of working.

You will work within a skilled consultancy team, using multiple languages and DevOps/cloud skills. Applicants should have a STEM degree (2:1+), experience with at least two programming languages, and familiarity with Atlassian/Monday.com/Asana.

Qualifications

• Experience with at least two programming languages from the list: Java, JavaScript, Python, C, C++, Matlab.
• Experience with work management software (Atlassian, Monday.com, Asana).
• A STEM degree with 2:1 minimum.
• Experience with DevOps or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/Jenkins).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Interest in AI and data and applying tech to client problems.

Responsibilities

• Delivers billable consulting services focused on client outcomes.
• Establishes client requirements and guides projects from design to outcome.
• Applies technical knowledge to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Contributes to internal improvements and explores emerging technologies.
• Supports pre-sales activities and delivers demos to help win business.
