Job summary

SCS Railways is seeking a Graduate Engineer / Site Engineer for the South Ruislip Vent Shaft site to ensure delivery of engineering design inputs within the project scope while meeting safety, time, quality and environmental targets.

You will coordinate day-to-day on-site activities, work with subcontractors to prepare risk assessments, permits and temporary works, and ensure all checks are recorded and non-conformances closed out in a timely manner.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil or environmental engineering or equivalent is required.
• CSCS card is required to work on site and manage safety-critical activities.
• Experience working on civil/site engineering projects is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Day to day site coordination and planning to ensure works are carried out safely and efficiently.
• Work with subcontractors to prepare Risk Assessments, Method Statements, Permits and Consents.
• Ensure Permit to Dig, Temporary Works and other safety systems are implemented.
• Carry out quality checks per ITPs and manage non-conformances on site until resolved.
