Remedy Education in the United Kingdom is seeking a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs at a large secondary school in Epping. The role starts ASAP and is on a full-time basis. You will help implement learning plans, support inclusion, and gain valuable SEN classroom experience for future education and psychology careers. Training and development opportunities are provided, with a competitive daily rate.
Qualifications
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic graduate with a genuine interest in SEN.
A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is highly desirable.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A proactive and flexible attitude.
Previous experience with children or young people (formal or informal) is beneficial but not essential.
Responsibilities
Support children with a variety of special educational needs in both 1:1 and group settings.
Help implement personalised learning plans designed by the class teacher and SENCo.
Encourage and promote inclusion and independence among pupils.
Adapt learning materials and activities to meet each student's individual needs.
Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and families to support student progress.
