Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils in Camberley, Farnham, Aldershot, Woking and Surrey areas. This role offers flexible full-time or part-time placements with CPD and Milk Academy training.

Ideal for recent graduates from Psychology, Education, Criminology, English, Maths, Science, or related fields seeking hands-on classroom experience and a pathway into teaching or educational psychology.

Qualifications

• A recent university graduate – all degree subjects considered.
• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient, positive, and adaptable approach.
• Previous experience working with children, young people, SEND, or care settings is beneficial but not essential.
• Based in or able to commute to Guildford and surrounding Surrey areas.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Helping students access learning and develop confidence
• Supporting children with additional learning needs
• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and interventions
• Building positive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement and independence
• Providing emotional and pastoral support where required
