Job summary

Teledyne Microwave UK in Lincoln is seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Technician to join a highly skilled team. You will assemble and test advanced RF and electronic products used in specialist microwave radar applications, and support continuous improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.

The role focuses on hands-on manufacturing, documentation, and problem solving within a high-technology environment. A relevant engineering qualification and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC, HND or equivalent qualification in Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, build instructions and test procedures.
• High level of dexterity and attention to detail; able to use hand tools and soldering.

Responsibilities

• Assembly and test RF and electronic products using a range of techniques following build documents.
• Complete production records, build documentation and test results accurately.
• Support fault finding and repair activities for production issues and customer returns.
• Adhere to Health, Safety and COSHH regulations and maintain ESD controls.
• Meet or exceed production targets while maintaining quality and supporting continuous improvement.
• Contribute to 5S, visual management and process improvements.
